Welcome to another new project by DFM Greenland India, where we carried out pre-construction soil treatment against termites at Poothakkuzhy, near Ayyankovickal Sastha Temple, for Mr. Dipin V.V.’s house in Puthenangady, Kottayam.
The treatment, which was carried out at the time of construction. The preventive termite protection starting from the foundation level, and the built-up area was about 1,350 square feet.
The Project
The project was related to a newly constructed house which was owned by Mr. Dipin V.V.in Puthenangady. The construction site was situated at Poothakkuzhy, close to the Ayyankovickal Sastha Temple, and covered an area of about 1,350 square feet. The project was brought to DFM India through a reference.
Why Pre construction Treatment Matters
Termites usually live in the soil and are able to get into buildings at the places where the ground, the foundation, and other structural parts meet. After a house has been built, accessing certain areas for termite treatment can be more difficult and costly, making pre-construction termite protection a more effective and economical solution.
The Treatment Process
The pre-construction soil termite treatment was carried out by DFM Greenland India at the project site. The aim of the treatment was to establish a protective barrier in those areas which might allow termites access from the soil into the building.
The process included:
Trenches were carefully created along the required floor areas to provide access for the anti-termite treatment and ensure proper coverage of the soil beneath the structure. The recommended anti-termite medicine was thoroughly injected into the prepared trenches, creating a protective chemical barrier against termite entry. After the treatment was completed, the trenches were properly refilled with soil, restoring the treated area while maintaining the protective termite barrier.
The Result
The anti-termite treatment of the soil before construction was completed at the house being built for Mr. Dipin V.V. In Poothakkuzhy, Kottayam.
By termite protection during the construction phase the house now has protection before it is fully finished.
The treatment was carried out by DFM India using professional application methods, thorough soil treatment, and quality-assured termite protection practices. The project is backed by a 5-year warranty, providing the homeowner with added confidence and long-term protection against termite-related damage.
