The Project

The project was about building a new house for Mr. George Philip in Thumpamon, Pandalam, in the Pathanamthitta District.

At the time when the house was being constructed, the project offered the ideal chance to carry out preventive termite protection before the building was completely finished. The construction company taking part in the project gave the job to DFM Greenland India. The project was done before the tiling process.

The Treatment Process

•  Step 1 — Preparing the Area – Before the tiling work, small holes were carefully created in the concreted floor along the edges of the walls. This provided access to the soil beneath the floor for carrying out the anti-termite treatment.
• Step 2 — Soil Treatment – The recommended anti-termite treatment  medicine was injected through the prepared holes into the soil beneath the floor. This treatment helps create a continuous protective barrier along the wall edges, reducing the possibility of termites entering the building from the soil.
• Step 3 — Completing the Treatment – Once the treatment was completed, the treated areas were properly restored as part of the ongoing construction work. The treatment was carried out before the tiling process, allowing termite protection to be established without disturbing the finished flooring.

The Result

For Mr. George Philips’ residential project at Thumpamon, Pandalam, Pathanamthitta, the anti-termite treatment was completed successfully as part of the building process.
